Woodwinds® Plantation Shutters Woodwinds Plantation Shutters utilize louvers and frames of a completely modern composition. They are made from a patented blend of 100% American hardwood and durable thermal polymers, allowing both the panels and frames to resist temperature fluctuations, intense humidity and the ravages of ultraviolet light. Woodwinds Plantation Shutters are ideal for bathrooms, kitchens and sunrooms where heat and humidity are a constant presence.

Three Woodwinds whites match and blend with today's painted woodwork: bright white Piccolo, soft white Bolero and cream Clarinet.

Woodwinds Plantation Shutters are available with 2 ½ and 3 ½-inch louver sizes. This flexibility allows you to choose the louver size best suited for your window and room.

Multiple Configurations

Woodwinds Plantation Shutter panels can be configured to fit any lighting or privacy situation. Choose full length, double hung or cafe style panels. Each can be built as a single panel or as multiple panels depending on your custom needs.

Easy Function
      
Woodwinds Plantation Shutters are fully operable and may be installed as hinged panels, bi-fold sliders or bypass sliders. The slider options open the panels to the left, right or to either side.

Window Framing
      
Customized frames fit in your window opening to give your Woodwinds Plantation Shutters a perfect, flawless fit. Routed, adjustable hanging strips are also available to cover a wide variety of applications.

Hardware Choices
Several hinge styles are available and may be requested in any of the following colors: painted, antique, brass and stainless steel. Pull knobs in brass or white porcelain and wire pulls in white or brass may also be ordered to give your Woodwinds Plantation Shutters a finishing touch.

Tilt Bar The classic tilt bar features a "no mouse holes" design that allows the louvers to close tightly in both directions.

Improved Control
The patented, spring-loaded panel design minimizes any light gaps on the sides of the louver tree for improved privacy and light control.

Louver Replacement
Spring-loaded louver trees make it quick and easy to replace individual or multiple louvers without dismantling the entire shutter panel.

Comfortex warrants that Woodwinds Plantation Shutters will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product, provided that the product was installed properly and in accordance with the Woodwinds Plantation Shutter installation instructions. The limited lifetime warranty is extended to the original purchaser only, in the original window for which it was intended.

The warranty does not include any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, or failure to follow printed instructions on installation, cleaning and care, or repairs. This warranty also does not apply to conditions resulting in normal wear and tear.

To obtain service, contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product. Comfortex will work with the dealer to repair or replace defective parts or components with similar or like parts at no charge.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS, LIABILITIES OR WARRANTIES. In no event shall Comfortex or its licensed fabricators or distributors be liable for INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES or for any other damage, loss or expense, cost or fee associated with such damage. In some states, exclusions for incidental or consequential damages are not allowable.
