Colonial Shutters

Colonial louvers (also called traditional louvers) are 1 1/4" in width, and support a maximum window opening measurement of 96" wide by 74" tall. The Colonial louver has the following panel configuations:

Any Height Over 36"

Single-Hung

A single shutter set will cover the entire height of the window opening.

Double-hung

Two shutter sets will cover the entire height of the window opening, with one shutter set covering the bottom, and the other covering the top. You can specify the height of the bottom shutter set if you don't want the top and bottom shutters to be the exact same height. The top shutter set can be opened independently of the bottom one.

Cafe Style

A single shutter set will cover only a portion of the window opening, usually one half to two thirds of the height of the window opening. Cafe style can be useful if you wish to place a fabric valance in front of the top section of the window.
